Second Chance Animal Rescue is a nonprofit feline rescue that opened its doors in 2010 and has since rescued and rehomed thousands of surrendered, abandoned, or stray cats and kittens. While we don't currently house dogs at our shelter, we have also helped thousands of local family and shelter dogs through our affordable spay/neuter and vaccination clinics.

Founded in 2003, Riverside Rescue was created to address the urgent need for a local animal shelter. In 2005, we proudly earned our 501(c)(3) non-profit status, enabling us to provide care and support to dogs, cats, and other small animals across the northeast regions of New Hampshire and Vermont. Our dedicated board of directors has committed to ensuring that we remain a NO-KILL shelter, welcoming all breeds of dogs and cats into our care.

Above the Notch Humane Society (ATNHS) is a compassionate animal rescue and dog adoption organization based in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Since 2001, our 501(c)3 nonprofit, staffed entirely by volunteers, has provided food, shelter, socialization, and veterinary care for dogs and companion pets. We respond to reports of abuse and neglect, assist in searches for lost animals, and ensure every pet in our care is placed in a safe, loving, and permanent home.
